Last day of the KIFR summer program 2022, our two locations provided treats and we had a fun dance party all together☀️
I hope you enjoyed your days with us, and wishing you a healthy good school year❤❤
On August 23, 2022, it was our great honour and pleasure🤍 to welcome Andrew Micklefield, MLA for Rossmere, to visit our summer day camp💛☀️ KIFR❤️
Our kids and youth were able to have a connection and interaction with him by introducing themselves and having small conversations.

Last week, our two locations went on a fun field trip to the Manitoba Musuem, they had an hour long film at the planetarium talking about the survival of Dinosaurs, then we all had lunch, and after that we were able to spend an hour at the science lab, learning about different science experiments and having fun.
It was a successful trip❤☀️

Last week, our two locations of the summer day camp☀️ (6 to 10 years old) went on a field trip to the children`s museum.
It was a fun day of learning through activities, adventures and creativity🧡

On Monday, August 1st, our Douglas staff and volunteers planned a trip to St.Malo 💛 Manitoba on their day off. They spent the whole day there doing so many different activities; including music and dabkeh, going on a hike to find the falls, rented some water equipments and played soccer ⚽️.
It was an amazing day for all of them to get closer and be more connected while creating memories ☀️❤
This summer we`re spreading all the fun 🧡at KIFR summer day camp☀️ 2022 by creating new ideas in our classes (sport, craft, language and culture)
Some of activities that we`ve done in those classes include, learning about the Ukrainians history with a group of Ukrainian kids, playing basketball, soccer and doing some competitions🏆 at sport class, making paper flowers, painting, 🎨drawing, dance and watching movies in several languages.
Come develop your imagination with us everyday 🪄
